Get Ready for Your

Garage Door Installation

Help Us Make Your Garage Door Installation a Breeze

It is finally time to install your new garage door! 🎉 Here are some things you can do to prepare for your garage door and opener installation, and ensure a smooth professional installation.

Move your vehicles

We will need clear and unfettered access to the entire garage. If you keep your cars in the garage, please park them elsewhere for the installation. They could be far enough away on the driveway to allow us to back our vehicle near the garage opening and access it without risking damage to your vehicle.

Clear your garage

Make sure that any equipment, tools, trash bins, bicycles, or anything that could interfere are put away or moved to the rear of the garage. This not only gives us enough space to work, but ensures your belongings aren’t accidentally damaged during the installation process.

Keep children and pets away

Please make sure your pet is in a safe place during the installation. To keeps both your pet and our installers safe. Children should also be kept at a safe distance from the work area to keep them safe from spring under tension, heavy items, overhead items, and hand and power tools.

Plan Controls' locations

Plan where you may want to have the opener, wall consoles or keyless entry pads to save time and clear those areas for work. The opener should be positioned close to an outlet or a location that can be reached easily with an extension cord. The wall console is usually next to the door that enters the house from the garage, and the keyless entry pad is normally right next to the door that leads into the house.

Prepare your questions

Hopefully, a lot of your questions have been answered prior to the installation, and more questions may arise during the process. We recommend preparing any questions for the installer so you will have them ready during the installation. This will help us cover all of your concerns, and ensure a fast and smooth installation process.

Thank You.
